OUR FIRST MICRO INTERVENTION
Our Story
Openbyke is pioneering a novel decentralized and distributed approach to the production of electric vehicles. Rather than relying on a traditional assembly line, our local Micro factories employ a cell-based assembly method with a low environmental footprint. These Micro factories can be established in areas of demand using pre-existing commercial spaces or warehouses, requiring lower initial capital investment. Furthermore, they can become profitable with much lower volumes due to their superior unit economics and operational flexibility. By localizing the supply chain, these Micro factories decrease the environmental impact of manufacturing while also providing customized products to meet regional needs. Ultimately, this approach will foster job creation, grow local supply chains, and empower communities, promoting a cleaner, more circular, and more equitable future.
